N​olan developed a passion for video production and marketing since a young age, making his start as an intern within the Virginia Tech Athletics Video Department (HokieVision) which lead into a full-time staff role within the department, overseeing 70+ students and producing content for ESPN digital platforms.

In December 2018, Nolan moved to Washington, D.C., to become the Manager of Video Production for U.S. Travel Association, the leading voice of the travel industry. This new position has enabled him to continue to pursue opportunities both within sports, the travel industry, and beyond.
